Benefits of Saving Stocks:
- Saving stocks gives you a dividend advantage, even if it’s small
- Saving long-term stocks in a bona fide company provides capital gains, which is an increase in the value of stocks that you have. Suppose you buy stock A at a price of 1000 rupiah per stock, a year later, the value of A stocks becomes 3000 rupiah per stock and you sell it. This means that you get a capital gain of 2000 rupiah per stock.
- Separate investment funds with savings, so you can manage your money easily.
- Funds deposited in the Investor Fund Account (RDI / RDN) also receive interest.
- Investment funds are easily withdrawn.
- Security and regulation are safeguarded and supervised by the OJK
- In addition to saving, it is also possible for stock trading which makes it possible to get bigger profits and of course with greater risk too.
Risk of Saving Stocks :
- Changes in regulations that allow fluctuations in stock prices.
- Strategic issues also allow fluctuations in stock prices.
- Signs of bankruptcy can significantly reduce stock values.
For Muslims: A view of sharia towards stock investment
Stock investment in the capital market is Syar’i if we do it in accordance with sharia principles in the Capital Market, which means that the stocks we buy are sharia stocks and the transactions we do do not violate sharia principles. Judging from the goods, investment in “Stocks” is in accordance with sharia principles in the capital market because it is based on the Syirkah Al Musahamah contract.
In order to be more sharper in saving stocks in the Capital Market, regularly purchase sharia stocks included in the Sharia Securities List. Saving stocks on the IDX includes transactions that have received No. Fatwa. 80 from the MUI DSN concerning the Implementation of Sharia Principles in the Mechanism of Equity-Type Securities Trading in the Regular Market of the Stock Exchange.
Conclusion, saving stocks is indeed very tempting. However, keep in mind the term big profits come with high risk. But there is a reference if we buy company stocks that have been settled or in terms of blue chips, usually the stocks go up little by little. For this reason, if we are interested in saving stocks in the long run, buy these blue chip stocks. Although the increase was a little, but it was stable and the possibility of losses was also smaller. Conversely, if we intend to trade stocks, traders usually choose stocks that go up and down to get a significant profit, but of course accompanied by high risk
